Have a Special Memory About Play? This Video Contest’s For You

The National Museum of Play at The Strong is an awesome museum completely dedicated to exploring the world of play, located in Rochester, New York. I have visited twice and was completely taken away—it is simply magical. My dad and teenage sons visited two summers ago and were treated with a special personalized tour (I was working at the Toy Industry Association at the time) and simply loved it, so it has ageless appeal. There is everything from interactive exhibits, a Super Kids Market sponsored by world-famous Wegman’s that allows kids to run a grocery store– incredible fun–a butterfly conservatory, interactive children’s literature exhibits that bring best-loved books to life and toy archives that are amazing. The National Museum of Play at The Strong is launching a video contest and asking folks to share treasured memories about play, win fabulous prizes, and contribute to a major new exhibit at the National Museum of Play at The Strong.  The museum invites you to submit a two-minute video showcasing your fondest memories of playing with friends by March 1.
