After sharing a matinee performance with my dad, we took a walk through Central Park, which has got to be one of the most beautiful public spaces in the world. Blanketed in snow, Central Park is, perhaps, even more beautiful than ever. We entered the park at Columbus Circle and West 59th Street, heading east. Strolling through reminded me how much I love winter walks especially when there’s snow on the ground. There is something very peaceful about that experience for me. For kids and adults alike, tons of snow also means tons of fun. We came upon a hill and saw hoards of people sledding. Some had real sleds and others had the make-it-yourself kind.
I did get a kick of out these guys who simply turned a cardboard box into a sled. Truly, anything goes here! I hear we are in for another snowstorm this week…
