I split my time at the Consumer Electronics Show perusing the aisles for the newest tech products and attending the Kids@Play Summit education tracks. I got to drive in a super-futuristic GM car called the EN-V–short for Electric, Networked Vehicle and originally unveiled at the Shanghai Expo. As the global population gravitates to urban areas, the EN-V was built to navigate urban streets. It was engineered after the segway. I got to step into the EN-V and ride around. Of course, being a born and bred New Yorker, I had to ask if the EN-V could handle potholes (in the current iteration, it can not). It was fun experiencing life as Jane Jetson for a few moments!
