Fun for kids and families at ChiTAG

Kids and grownups alike had a blast last weekend at ChiTAG, the eighth annual Chicago Toy & Game Fair, which was held at the Navy Pier (in downtown Chicago) from November 20-21st. This event is all about play and it is total fun for all ages. At the registration area, you were “greeted” by a giant Playmobil balloon sculpture. Long tables were dispersed throughout the room for adults and kids to sit back and engage in game play.Little ones check out the new Sesame Street toys from Hasbro/Playskool This was a great forum to “test drive” new toys and games in a very relaxed atmosphere—just in time for holiday shopping. ChiTAG is such a terrific concept; I would love to see similar events, which put “play” at the center, take place in other cities, too as game play is a wonderful way for kids and families to connect.
